Overdraft Protection
Members checks are protected with overdraft protection from SIU Credit Union. If a member overdraws his/her account, money from his/her membership shares account is deposited into his/her checking account. This service is free of charge and occurs automatically. The $5 minimum must remain in the membership shares account and will not be transferred.
