SAFE DEPOSIT BOXES
SIU Credit Union offers you a safe way to store your valuable items with Safe Deposit Boxes. Safe Deposit Boxes are available at our Giant City Road Branch. They are available in three sizes: 1) 3" x 10” for $20.00, 2) 5" x 10” for $30.00 and 3) 10" x 10” for $50.00 (prices are for annual rental). Boxes are completely secure; only you have access to your Safe Deposit Box. Safe Deposit Boxes are limited, so please call one of our locations for availability.

MONEY ORDERS & CASHIERS CHECKS
SIU CU sells money orders and cashier’s checks. Money orders can be purchased for amounts up to $1000.00. Cashier’s checks can be purchased for amounts of $1000.01 and up. Money orders and cashier’s checks can be replaced if lost or stolen. The fee for money orders and cashier’s checks is waived if you have a Basic, Emeritus, or Premier NOW checking account.

US SAVINGS BONDS
SIU CU offers US Savings Bonds. They are available in three types: 1) Series EE, 2) Series I, and 3) Series HH. Saving bonds are a safe and secure investment. Bonds are ordered from the Federal Reserve Bank and are mailed to you within 15 days. For more information on savings bonds, speak with one of our tellers at any of our three locations. TRAVELERS CHEQUES
SIU CU sells Traveler’s Cheques from American Express. Traveler’s Cheques are a safe way to carry cash and are recognized around the world. They are completely refundable if lost or stolen. Traveler’s Cheques for One or Traveler’s Cheques for Two are available. Traveler’s Cheques for Two can be shared by two people, and the best part is that only one of the travelers needs to be present when cheques are purchased or spent!

Gift Cheques can also be purchased as a flexible gift. They are accepted virtually anywhere! Gift Cheques come with a gold envelope and gift card. It’s the complete gift!

SIGNATURE GUARANTEE
A “Signature Guarantee” is required by all transfer agents before you can sell or transfer securities that are registered in your name. The Security Transfer Agents Medallion Program (STAMP) is the official, financial- industry- supported signature guarantee program. Through this program, you will have complete assurance that your signature will be immediately accepted for processing by transfer agents.

LICENSE STICKER REGISTRATION
You can purchase your Illinois license plates stickers at any of our three locations. The license sticker fee is waived if you have an Emeritus, Basic, or Premier NOW checking account.

FOREIGN CURRENCY
SIU Credit Union can order foreign currency if you are traveling or sending currency abroad.

INTERNATIONAL DRAFTS
SIU Credit Union can order an official check to be drafted on an international financial institution for use as fully-negotiable, foreign currency when traveling or sending
currency abroad.

NOTARY SERVICES
SIU Credit Union offers you free notary services at any of our three locations.

ELECTRONIC WIRE TRANSFERS
SIU Credit Union can send and receive both foreign and domestic electronic wire transfers. SIU CU can also send Western Union transfers. Click here for fees associated with Electronic Wire Transfers.
