Bill Payer is the automated Bill Paying service from SIU Credit Union. It allows you to request amounts from any of your credit union checking account(s) to be automatically deducted to pay any of your monthly bills.

Using Bill Payer is easy. You can setup an unlimited number of bills and Bill Payer costs only $6.00 per month for an unlimited number of bills.  Bill Payer is a great service for a great price!

When would I use Bill Payer?
Bill Payer is easily used for those bills that occur in the same amount every month. Bills like loan payments, trash services or your cable bill are great ways to utilize Bill Payer. However, Bill Payer is also very effective for paying bills that vary in amounts from month to month.

For instance, credit card bills, phone bills, or your utilities can be re-adjusted every month to match the amount you need to pay. Just schedule your payment for any future due date and forget about it! Bill Payer is an excellent service that saves you time and money. No more writing checks and spending extra cash on postage or envelopes!

How do I get started?
Just follow these simple steps to get set up with Bill Payer!

Bill Payer Member Agreement

I hereby authorize SIU Credit Union to make and to post payments to those companies I have initiated through the Q-Phone automated phone system or SIU Credit Union’s on-line banking computer system (Home Banking @dvantage) and to post such payments from my checking account.

I understand that SIU Credit Union will process my requests each business day to ensure payments reach companies in a timely manner but cannot guarantee when those companies will post my payments. I further understand that bill payments through SIU
Credit Union’s Bill Payer service will be paid by electronic funds transfer or via check payment through the mail when necessary. I also understand that I am responsible for making any additions, modifications, or deletions of payees or creditors through the on-line
computer banking system. If I require assistance with these additions, modifications, or deletions, it may take up to, but no more than ten business days for SIU Credit Union to process my request.

If at any time I decide to discontinue this service, I will cancel my list of bills to be paid (or individual bills) through SIU Credit Union’s on-line banking computer system (Home Banking @dvantage) or by filling out a written form provided at any of SIU Credit Union’s three locations. Please refer to the “Truth in Savings” disclosure for additional information about this service.

If you are a Q-Phone user and do not have on-line access, you can register and set up your bills by picking up a form from one of our member service representatives at any
of our branches. You can also call any of SIU Credit Union’s branches and request that a “Bill Payer” registration form be mailed to you.*

* Use of Bill Payer through the Q-Phone is recommended as a supplement to our on-line access. Full functionality of the Bill Payer service is not available through the Q-Phone.
