Mobile Banking App

Mobile Banking App Preview.We've updated your Mobile Banking App experience. Simply download the app by visiting the App Store or Google Play Store on your iPhone, Android or tablet device. Your new and improved Mobile Banking App offers a modern design and is faster and easier to use. Here are just a few of the exciting improvements:

Mobile Website

From the freedom of your mobile device our mobile website allows you to:

  • • Easily and securely access balance information
  • • Pay your bills
  • • Transfer funds
  • • Apply for a loan
  • • View current rates and much more

It's easy, fast and convenient.  Best of all, our mobile website is free to all online banking users.  Just follow these simple steps to get started:

1.  From a computer, logon to your Online Banking account at www.siucu.org & click on Mobile (listed under Preferences).
2.  On the Mobile Enrollment tab, select the checkbox for “Yes, enable my User ID and Password for use on my mobile device”.
3.  If you would like to be able to transfer between your accounts on your mobile device, click on the Mobile Authorizations tab and create your desired Mobile Authorization Code and preferred phone and email delivery preferences.
4. Go to www.siucu.org on your mobile device's browser and get started with our mobile website.

Mobile Deposit

Mobile Deposit is available inside of our Mobile Banking App.  This feature allows you to deposit checks right to your checking or savings account anytime. Simply download or upgrade the app by visiting the App Store or Google Play Store on your iPhone, Android or tablet device.

Text Banking

Text banking is a service which allows you to quickly request and receive account information via text message.  You won't need to sign in and it's just as secure as our other services.  It comes with no separate fees from SIU Credit Union.  After enrolling, just text one of the following commands to 226563 (BANKME) and you'll get the answer you need in seconds.

BAL <account name> Receive account balance (if no account name is included, the balances of all enabled accounts will be listed)
HIST <account name> Receive account history
XFER <from account name> <to account name><amount> Transfer funds between accounts
LIST Receive a list of available text commands
HELP Receive a list of contact points for information on text banking
STOP Stop all text message to the mobile device (for text banking and SMS alerts/notifications)

How to begin:

It's easy to enroll your mobile device:

  1. 1.  From a computer, logon to your Online Banking account at www.siucu.org & click on Mobile (listed under Preferences).
  2. 2.  On the Text Banking tab, select Enable and authorize text banking on the below mobile device.
  3. 3. Enter the mobile phone number to use next to SMS Text Number.
  4. 4. Check to agree to terms and click submit.
  5. 5.  Setup your Account Preferences to enable and name accounts (four character limit) for use with text banking.
  6. 6.  You are now ready to access your account information via text message.
